Ping spike cs go что это
TLDR version: I think in-game voice might be causing ping spike issues in multiplayer games.
So like a lot of people, I've been getting horrible ping spikes in CS:GO, where it jumps from 20-30 to over 200 every few seconds.
I know it's NOT caused by the following issues:
- Computer being slow - I get zero lag when playing offline, and my pc is up to date
- Wireless connection - I get the same issue on both ethernet and wireless
- CS:GO only - I tested TF2 while running Network Monitor and it does the same thing
- Server latency - the server shows low ping in the menu before I connect to it
- Background processes - looking at Resource Monitor shows nothing else hogging any memory or CPU
- Slow internet - general surfing and Youtube etc work fine
I realise I might be barking up the wrong tree, but it's worth investigation to rule this out at the very least.
So hopefully this is actually solved now, and it's not just a coincidence caused by my dodgy Australian internet connection. Thanks for your help :^)

I remember having the same problem in the past and i figured out that my wi-fi adapter is broken, it has 1000 ping to router just every 10 seconds. Switching to wired connection helped me. 23 июл. 2016 в 9:00 Are you using wi-fi connection? You can always try to use command prompt to ping your router from pc and check if there are any delays.wifi is not meant for online gaming because its unstable

Other games may be not so ping sensitive as CS:GO and not lag even if your ping jumps for a little seconds. Your wi-fi connection is the first thing you should check to solve your problem. I've gamed on wifi for 8 years, it's worked fine.
thats what unstable means

15 авг. 2016 в 13:08A new device in your home might be interfering with the wifi so check that first.
It could also be a problem with your router/modem, so you'll want to run a few ping tests on different devices.
Worst case scenario is that the problem is originating from your ISP.

Everyone else in my house is not having this problem whether they are playing games using wifi or ethernet. Also my video streaming are slower around every 7 sec plus my browser sometimes loads very slowly every 7 sec. So I suspect it is my wifi adapter. I have kicked it a couple of times on accident because my desktop is in front of my feet so it may be broken. I bought a new adapter and if this solves the problem, I'll update you. 11 дек. 2016 в 22:05 I'm also currently having this problem but it's happening to all the online games I'm playing. This exact same thing happened to me when a program I was using had a bad update and was giving me lag spikes. Try running the ping test in safe mode w/ networking to see if you still get lag spikes. If you don't, then you have a program opened that's making you lag every 10 seconds. If you still do, might be a faulty adapter.
Fix for Wireless Ping Spikes
Fix for Wireless Ping Spikes
in your windows cmd, type in
and one of the last things might say
Auto configuration logic is enabled on interface "Wireless Network Connection"
netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=no interface="Wireless Network Connection"
It should respond with
Auto configuration has been disabled on interface "Wireless Network Connection".
You will need to turn it back on if you disconnect or need to be able to find nearby networks again. To do so change disabled to enabled from the earlier command or copy pasta
netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=yes interface="Wireless Network Connection"
CSGO ping spikes
In my 1.2k hours of CSGO, my internet has always been stable, barring very seldom lag spikes. On Friday, I played deathmatch as warmup and got ping spikes as frequent as once every 15 seconds. It got so bad I decided not to play competitive. Yesterday (Saturday), I tried again and the same thing happened. Didnt play again. Today my friend pressured me into playing matchmaking and although we won 16-9, I had such frequent lag spikes I couldnt play properly. I finished at 14-19 against mid Novas ( Im faceit lvl 4 with k/d of 1.12, only Gn4 in MM due to not playing much) and got only 2 headshot kills. Dont know whats the problem here. Wifi runs just fine for literally everything else. Perhaps its due to some recent update? Is anyone else having the same issue? Im SEA region btw.
Edit: if its server side lag, will playing faceit have the same issue as well?
