A massive problem in rust is the amount of people using the undetectable anti-recoil scripts for rust. It is a very worrying problem as so many people can use this cheat. It is free and widely available. It provides an unfair advantage to the scripture and frankly just shit. It is also annoying that everyone now just calls scripts on any good player. My group has recently come under fire from people accusing us of scripts because we are good (All 2000+ hours). I would like to know if facepunch or EAC has any upcoming solution to this.

A better solution would be to have recoil scripts to not work at all. I use AHK for many things that are legitimate. Toggling between microphones, and managing between PTT and always on.
All those auto farm scripts are nice to have with AHK because its easier to turn off, also useful for making a click, simply click without holding down.
There is another solution.. some fps games dont have this problem because there is no recoil. The shots get less and less accurate as you fire. This would place everyone on the same feild.
How does Counterstrike deal with this? Does anyone know?
Maybe heuristics, detecting unnatural regularities in player input could be a solution, but maybe it would be useless since you can simply build randomness into the script/macro.
Because there are very legitimate reasons to use scripts.
But that would suck because im always running 3 ahk scripts to do various things for me like change songs on utube, swap virtual desktop and navigate stuffs quickly
It should be. EAC already scans your HDD/SSD whenever it wants, to allow them to scan all processes is borderline NSA-esque.

Exactly, I feel is this becoming a common thing to do now.
When you have streamers/youtubers posting proud "PVP montage" videos that clearly show them scripting and admitting it mid video is really what should be the punch in the face.
because they are good look at cudas stream, no recoil, he knows how to do it.
a lot of streamers? can u pm me their names, I watch Rust streams every day and I didnt see anyone using it.
Quick thought - and this might not solve the issue, but maybe someone can expand on it.
Since each AK is built primitively and with a random assortment of parts (the realism in the game). Could you implement a function on each gun that will randomize the severity of the recoil each time one is crafted?

A friend and I created a Rust recoil training website
We created a website that helps develop muscle memory and overall skill with recoil on Rust. Currently, we only have AK, but we will add all guns in the future. We just launched it today, and would love to have some feedback on the site.

Yeah it has something to do with the sensitivity difference between windows and Rust. I think you could tweak it and it would work well. We have tested it a lot, and we notice a difference when we switch from the site to the game, but once we adjust for the difference within a few minutes, our recoil compensation is much more accurate!
Very interesting tool there, not 100% accurate obviously, but a very good start.
