Come on ive seen it ok;)

Every time i start up Conan Exile do we have to see all the brands and intro. can we just not skip it push esc and go to start screen choose online-single/co-op-settings ect?

Now start to be annoying seeing intro movie 20 times.

If you do not want to edit files, just hit the [ESC] key when the Funcom logo comes up. Otherwise, this is correct:

Go to: \Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Config\
open "DefaultGame.ini and set:[/script/movieplayer.movieplayersettings]
-StartupMovies=StartupUE4
-StartupMovies=StartupNvidia
-StartupMovies=CinematicIntroV2

wrong, since the last patch most of the time (for me and a few others) the ability to skip past the starting logo's and then the cinematic is no longer available. Right/Left mouse clicking, Esp/Space/Enter no work either.

I eventually started pressing every single key and waiting 2-3 seconds during the cinematic play and the screenshot capture skipped the intro. Yet to check see if that works again however.
But what really peeved me off was waiting for all that to finish and then see the game close back to desktop right after the cinetic trailer finished.

I never had any of this pre last patch at all. That patch seemed to break alot more than it actually fixed.

If you downloaded lots of mods, then my trick is to click off the screen and back on the screen several times while the movie plays. a mouse click will usualy do the trick.

however, if you are using mods, mods load before the game.
this has the unforunate side effect of stopping you from skipping the intro.

some people think this next part is a bad idea, I'll leave that up to you.

This works great, but may have to redo after every patch:

Edit X:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Config\DefaultGame.ini

Just change the + in front of the intro movies to a minus and they will be skipped
Then anytime there is a patch just redo your tweak to the DefaultGame.ini

before i upgraded my pc to have non amd crap cpu and 16gb ram instead of 8, i can skip the cinematics by spamming click buttons immediately. before, it used to get as far as the battle with the sandstorm dogs before i could skip, because i was loading about 10 mods in. the mods that really take time to load are the 500mb ones that have loads of armours or new textures and stuff.

seeing as its not the cinematics being locked and its the mods loading that causes the inability to skip them, i would imaging that ud have to wait anyway, even if u removed them :(

@Nazrat if you skip the intro vids by changing the + infront of the movies in the defaultgame.ini to a minus you can get to the conan launcher in seconds

How long the game takes to load with your mods will take as long as it takes . depending on your computer and your settings and that could be different for each person playing. If you want to get aggroed by trying to keep skipping the intro that's your choice. For me skipping the intro is easy and I'm thankful to that technique.

How would you know in either case, the only main difference is, it's not spending anytime loading the trailers, especially when you get quite sick of them after 20 or more times.

You could try loading the game without any mods test how long it takes both before the launcher and after. Then add your mods and retry with the same settings. But is that a valid test? For me I personally don't care how long it takes. As long as I don't need to watch the intro nor to load them.

Oh and if you add any mods and have to reload the launcher, with out the intros the launcher is loaded almost immediately. So it's more than likely only new mods that need to be loaded some time before the game starts.

Disable waiting [ ]

Go to: \Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Config\ open "DefaultGame.ini and set: Change

Left click [ ]

Other methods [ ]

Editing the file Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Config\DefaultGame.ini

Selecting "Novids" from the start options in Steam.
Clicking the small microphone looking icon at bottom of screen.

The following is not recommended, it may have some side effects:

GO Steam\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Content\Movies and delete all MP4 Data.

Leave only the video " StoryIntro " in the folder otherwise you cant join on the server possible.

Skipping video intros

The cause is likely client behavior and is unlikely to see a fix as "bug".
